Here is what's going on at the Nantucket Island Fair:

Tie-Dye Island Fair T-Shirts

Saturday & Sunday from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Events Tent

Visit Our Wonderful Volunteers at the Tie-Dye Station and purchase the t-shirts of your choice. Net proceeds go to support Nantucket Island Fair.

Nantucket Nature via Your Senses

Saturday from 10 am to 12:00 pm at the Community Tent

The Linda Loring Nature Foundation presents Nantucket Natural Senses.
How many naturally Nantucket items can you name using only one sense at a time?
We’ll use all of our senses (sight, touch, smell, sound, and maybe taste) to guess what bit of Nantucket nature we have.

Daffodil Presentation & Bulb Give-Away 

Saturday from 12 pm to 2 pm at the Community Tent

Join Mary Malavase from the Nantucket Garden Club for a presentation on the proper planting and care of Daffodils.
She informs us on the best varieties for Nantucket's climate and on how to enter your daffodils in the Flower Show Daffodil Weekend. And she will give away daffodil bulbs or fall planting! 

Invasive Plants of Nantucket

Saturday from 1 pm to 3:30 pm at the Community Tent

Nantucket's Invasive Plant and Biodiversity Committee will present their work and discuss identification and removal of invasive trees, shrubs, flowers, and vines. 

Tree Planting & Care on Nantucket

Saturday from 1 pm to 3:30 pm at the Community Tent

Nantucket's Tree Warden Dale Gary will be available to answer your tree questions, from appropriate species for seaside settings to maintenance & caring for your Arbor Day saplings.

Nantucket Shellfish & Harbor Health

Saturday from 2 pm to 4 pm & Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm at the Community Tent

Chat with Natural Resources Coordinator Jeff Carlson about shellfish, the current health of our harbors, and the coming scallop season. Learn the life cycle of a scallop & how to identify a "keeper".
