Mission Statement


The Town and County Clerk's Office is the gateway to local government.

Our mission is to facilitate the efforts of our residents and visitors to access public information, to enable voters to avail themselves of the democratic process, and to assist the general public with their concerns.

Town clerk Catherine Flanagan Stover has announced the following fiscal-year 2017 fee increases:
  • Vital records and certifications, $15
  • Marriage intentions, $50
  • Dog licenses, $10 for altered dogs, $15 for unaltered dogs, free for persons over 70
  • Doing Business As filings, $50
  • Kennel licenses, four dogs or less, $40, 10 dogs or less, $100, more than 10 dogs, $150
  • Street Lists, $15, free to residents 60 and over
  • Junk-dealer license, $50
  • Pool-table license, $125
  • Pole relocation, $75
  • Amendments to vital records, $50
  • Planning and Zoning decisions $15.
