Accessible Outdoor Locations

Below is a map of the locations that WPI students have gone and visited and assessed for accessibility.  If you click the arrow and box in the top left corner a side window will open showing all the locations.  If you click the check boxes you can choose which type of location to show on the map. To close the side window just click the arrow on the let hand side.  To see the map in full screen click the box in the icon in the top right corner.  This will open the map in a new tab.
Legend for Accessibility levels
  • Wheelchair Use - Parts of this location have wheelchair access

  • Adventurous Wheelchair Use -Parts of this location are accessible to wheelchairs but it would take some effort to propel the wheelchair

  • Cane - Parts of this location are level enough or only have a slight incline

  • Short Distances - Parts of this location have benches so that one can travel between them and rest before continuing

  • Blind with Assistance - Parts of this location are accessible to a person who is partially blind or fully blind with assistance from a person who can see

  • Blind Independent - Parts of this location have accommodations that allow someone who is blind to explore without direct help from a seeing person
