Where can I find a listing of positions available with the Town of Nantucket?
The Town of Nantucket posts vacancies on the Town’s website under Employment Opportunities and on bulletin boards at Town offices located on the island.

Where can I find an employment application?
The application is available online in a PDF file on the Employment Opportunities page.  Hardcopy resumes are available at the Town and County Building, located at 16 Broad St., Nantucket, MA 02554 in the Human Resources Office.

Do I have to complete a new application for each position I am interested in applying for?
Yes, the Town of Nantucket requires all applicants to fill out a new application for each position for which they wish to apply.

Can I write, “see resume” on my application?
No, all information must be complete on the application and the application must be signed by the candidate.

How do I submit the application?
Applications may be faxed (508) 325 – 6117 in order to meet any applicable deadline, but a signed application must be mailed or hand-delivered for each position in which you are interested.

What happens if I miss the deadline for the position I am interested in?
If the position is reopened for new applications, your application will be considered at time.  Please remember, you need to submit a new application for each position you are interested in.
