There are currently no distance requirements.

Yes, we monitor all public beaches weekly.
Q: What do I need for a water test?
A brown 16 oz. Bottle (Drug Store) of water (let it run for 5 minutes), taken the morning of testing, A check for $30 to Barnstable County, $5 Cash for airfare. Please bring sample to Health Department by 9:30am.
