Please be advised that a Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 6:00PM to consider the application for a new local Entertainment license for Hither Creek LLC d/b/a Millie’s, Christopher Cochran, Manager for the premises located at 326 Madaket Road, Nantucket, MA 02554. The applicant seeks approval for non-amplified live music in the interior second floor area of the restaurant and non-amplified non-live (recorded) music in the first and second floor interior areas of the restaurant during the hours of 1:00PM to 10:00PM seven days per week. The hearing will take place in the 2nd Floor Court Room at Nantucket Town and County Building, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA.

Please be advised that the Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 to hear an application for a Public Assembly Permit for Nantucket Music Festival to be held at Tom Nevers Park, Tom Nevers Road, Nantucket, MA from 12:00PM (Noon) to 9:00PM on Sunday, July 11, 2010. The applicant seeks approval to hold a live music event featuring local bands and “upcoming” bands in on-stage performances.
