Summer 2020

The Summer of 2020 is upon us but we know this season will be unlike any other.  As our island community slowly and cautiously opens to welcome the many people who help make Nantucket such a wonderful and special place, we ask each of you to help all of us keep our island safe.

Please familiarize yourself with local and state regulations designed to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus while allowing everyone to have fun and stay healthy. We want to ensure that the measures which have so far kept our community safe are embraced and practiced by all those coming to Nantucket.

It will take some time for all of us to adjust to the new normal but we know we can do it! Please read this joint statement from the Town of Nantucket, the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce and the Nantucket Cottage Hospital.

Although The Summer of 2020 will be unique in many ways isn’t it the uniqueness of Nantucket what makes it so special!  Enjoy your stay and Welcome Home!

The Governor strongly urges all travelers to Massachusetts to self-quarantine for 14 days until further notice
