Mission

The Communications Office goal is to increase public awareness of Town initiatives and regulations through improved and strengthened communication and engagement.

Effective communication advances the Select Board’s strategic visions of equity, inclusion and education by providing a variety of meaningful, accessible to all, ways to engage with the Town and its services.

Communications Office Priorities

promoting transparency in the Town’s decision-making processes and outcomes of key issues that affect the lives of our residents;

encouraging participation and education of informed residents and visitors by providing consistent and reliable information through channels of communication accessible to all;

listening and learning by acknowledging that communication is a two-way process, and receiving feedback is as important as providing information.
