Public Work Commencing Municipal Improvement Projects on Various Areas

The Department of Public Works (DPW) will be commencing municipal improvement projects starting on or after October 15, 2019 and continuing through May 31, 2020 or until completed.

Work will include reconstruction of sidewalks, repairs to bridge railing systems, installation of playground equipment, paving of speed tables, and installation of drainage systems.

Municipal Water, Sewer and Drainage Work to Start on October 15

CC Construction will be commencing municipal water, sewer and drainage work starting October 15, 2019 and continuing through May 15, 2020.

Work will include excavation of existing municipal structures within the roadway, installation of new structures within the roadway and full pavement.

Today, NGrid unveiled one of the largest battery energy storage resources in the Northeast US. The facility will ensure electric reliability for customers during peak summer months and defer the need for construction of third underwater supply cable.

Judith Chase Lane Complete Road Closure

Starting October 21 through December 5, Judith Chase Lane will be blocked due to complete sidewalk and roadway reconstruction.

Work will include sidewalk intersections of Judith Chase Ln and Fair and Pine Streets.

Local traffic will be maintained and coordinated with residents along this road.

Town Meeting Citizen Warrant Articles

Town Administration has updated the Citizen Warrant Article Guide, the Citizen Warrant Article Submittal Form, and a Questionnaire that is not required but will help the various Town agencies that review warrant articles perform their reviews.

The warrant is open for citizen submittals from October 3 to November 18 at 4pm. Town Counsel is available for consultation as to citizen warrant articles on Wed, October 16 2pm – 4pm and Thurs, Oct 17 9am – 11am in the Town Building C...
