It's Census Time - Ways to Respond while Social Distancing

Stay healthy and get counted - respond to the 2020 Census from the comfort of your home. There are 10 basic questions - and it's safe, easy, and important.

Individual Census data is protected by federal law, and the statistics that are based on the data are used to allocate federal funds to support Nantucket’s schools, health care, food assistance, emergency services, senior programs, and more. Funding is directly tied to the number of people who report that they live here.  Here’s how to respond:

1. Use your smartphone, tablet or computer to visit 2020census.gov. Click on "Take the Census" and then choose your language.

2. You can also respond by phone in many languages by calling a dedicated line. Find yours HERE.

3. When you receive your paper form, you can complete it and send it in by mail, too.

Need help completing the Census? Click HERE on your smartphone, tablet, or computer to learn more. Help is available in 13 languages!

However you choose to respond, please remember to count everyone who lives at your address. Get counted because we all count for Nantucket!
