I’ve heard that the General Bylaw features a grandfathering clause. What STRs are grandfathered in this proposal?

An STR property will be grandfathered if the owner can:

  • submit proof of state registration as an STR prior to November 7, 2023
  • submit proof of collecting and paying room excise tax required for STRs in at least one Calendar Third Quarter in one year or more, 2019-2023.
