How do I request a Corporate Certificate?

Instructions for Online Orders

  • Click here to visit the Secretary of States website.  The link will take you to the “Search Corporate Database”
  • Enter the name of the corporation
  • Select the correct entry from the resulting names
  • Copy that corporation’s Federal ID number
  • Click ‘Request a Certificate’ and complete that form
  • In ‘Special Instructions’ type ‘send to Nantucket’ and include a local point of contact for the registry to notify when the certificate has been delivered.
  • Pick up your certificate at the Nantucket Registry the next day

When placing an order online, please note the following:

  • Credit card required for payment
  • In “Special filing instructions” box, type ‘send to Nantucket’
  • Order by corporation’s Federal ID number
